2026 Trial Practicum

This intensive litigation practicum consists of three full days of lectures, group meetings, practice, and substantive instruction from Fellows and forensic and custody experts. The fourth day of the program culminates with a full day mock trial at San Francisco Superior Court.

Who should participate?

This practicum is designed for family law attorneys intending to take the Family Law Specialization Examination, those interested in earning two trial credits, and family law attorneys looking to enhance their courtroom advocacy skills.

Program Leaders

Panelists and practicum leaders are experienced AAML Fellows and judges committed to the education and development of the family law bar. The program also features expert witnesses, including experienced family law forensic accountants and mental health professionals.

Registration & Fees

• Fee: $3,400
• $1,700 due upon registration.
• $1,700 due by April 21, 2026.
• After April 21, 2026, the full $3,400 is due upon registration.
